Generosity
Which is the hardest for you to be generous with?
When we try to find meaning by accumulating, all we are really doing is adding worry, work, and loss.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 NIV
10 Whoever loves money never has money enough;whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income.
This too is meaningless.
The more you have, the more you have to worry about.
Ecclesiastes 5:13 NIV
13 I have seen a grievous evil under the sun:wealth hoarded to the harm of its owner,
The more you have, the more you have to take care of.
Ecclesiastes 5:14 NIV
14 or wealth lost through some misfortune,so that when he has a son
there is nothing left for him.
The more you have, the more you have to leave behind.
Proverbs 23:4 NIV
4 Do not wear yourself out to get rich;have the wisdom to show restraint.
What God is against and what He's not...
God is not against wealth; He is against His people trying to find fulfillment in it.
