Masterpiece Week 2 Notes

Masterpiece - Week 2 Word for today: Simplify Simplify: to reduce complexity Roots: (Spiritual Lives) Matt. 6:33 Trunk: (Priorities) Relationships (Mark 12:30-31) Money (Matthew 6:19-21) Time (Ephesians 5:15-17) Branches: Activities that flow out of our priorities. Each activity leads to another activity and eventually we become overwhelmed with “stuff." We must do the hard work of “pruning” the “stuff” out of our lives. The unnecessary… SIMPLIFY!!! What activities are currently in your lives that are adding unnecessary complexity to your world? Activities that need to be “pruned”. Activities that stand in the way of God being able to create in you a masterpiece. Most of the time it just doesn’t work to “add” something to your life. We’re probably going to have to remove something – even good things in order to create space for the Master to work. Look at your tree. Think of the activity of your life. Where are the places you can create space? (If you take your own notes below, you can email them to yourself)
